Ollie oop paranatural5/30/2023 Magnetic Force: Max uses the magnetic force of his bat to fly upwards, accidentally performing a DP. Soup Can: Max hits a soup can from the corner store with his bat, creating a fast and powerful projectile. Scrap Throw: Max throws out some scrap metal up to three times, which then acts as extra hits to his next special move. In his general animations he acts laid-back and cool as he does in the comic, except when he uses his special attacks when he acts panicked and messily, to show what little control he has over his abilities. All-Rounder Shoto character, as all protagonists are destined to be. Max: Sharp-Tongued, Scrap-Swinging New Kid. Technically there are only four stages outside of the Corner Store, the Mayview Middle School Gym with a giant animated swirl of spirits in the ceiling, the Slanted Manse and the Activity Consortium's base, though all of these have unique versions correlating to the Spirit Worlds of the Activity Club (excluding the Activity Consortium's base) turning four stages into sixteen! Heightened Perception acts as a universal cancel that costs 50% meter (didImentionIlikeGuiltyGear). Balance-wise the game is a Guilty Gear-style air-dasher, with fairly high damage-levels. There are three buttons: Light, Medium and Heavy. I can't program, or animate, or compose, or do anything else to make it, so I'm writing it out to remove it from my brain and allow me to focus on other stuff. I am currently going through a very intense hyperfixations on fighting games which my brain has combined with my love for Pnat to create an very specific concept of a Pnat fighting game. Is it possible that, instead of a physical characteristic, Max is affected by a psychological characteristic? I have a personal theory, but I don't know how likely it is. So, have there been any hints that, knowing now what we know, might suddenly stand out? Much like Spender's sunglass-covered eyes, this would have to be something we just couldn't tell is hidden until the big reveal. But it would also have to be something that isn't COMPLETELY hidden. ![]() They wouldn't want anyone to figure this out TOO early. Of course, knowing Zack Morrison, there may be a hidden detail we just haven't seen yet. But despite us seeing some glowy eyed possession, we haven't seen any physical signs. ![]() Unless he was only posessed upon entering Mayview for the first time, this must've been the case for a long time. ![]() We now know for almost certainty that Max is a medium for a Sphinx of Promises or some other unnnamed fragment of the Great Sphinx. Where is Max's physical sign of possession? So, here's the big I haven't seen many people consider. ![]() They planned this in advance, making these characteristics (hidden or otherwise) a part of the character's original design. I don't think they drew Spender always wearing sunglasses by accident, that JUST SO HAPPENED to cover up his signs of posession. I don't think they wrote it so Isaac had spiky hair BEFORE coming up with the reason for it. Zack Morrison is an author who knows this story inside and out, and seems to have thought through things enough to leave extremely clever hints and foreshadowing YEARS in advance. Spender has dark pools of leaky black stuff for eyeballs. We know that when someome is possessed by a ghost or spirit, they begin to exhibit some sort of physical characteristic of their possessor. So far we have 3 mediums among our main characters: Isaac, Spender, and Max.
